Getting Here
We're in Caribbean Plaza on West Bay Road, in the heart of Seven Mile Beach — a short walk from The Westin and The Ritz-Carlton, and minutes from Camana Bay, the Marriott, Kimpton Seafire and Palm Heights. Look for the plaza on the inland side of West Bay Road; there's ample free parking on site, which is rare on this stretch.
Coming from Owen Roberts International Airport, it's roughly a 15-minute drive north along West Bay Road. From George Town, allow about 10 minutes. Taxis run the length of Seven Mile Beach all evening, and most resorts on the strip are within walking distance.
What to Expect
Uncle Liu's is a relaxed, upscale dining room — no dress code beyond beach-casual, and just as comfortable for a family dinner as for a date night. Our chefs hand-pull noodles every morning and fold dim sum to order, so expect the kitchen to cook to the ticket rather than to the clock.
The menu runs from Szechuan classics — Mapo tofu, Kung Pao chicken, Dan Dan noodles — to fresh Caribbean seafood cooked in the wok, including our Coconut Lobster. There's an extensive vegetarian and vegan selection, and the patio is dog-friendly. Curbside takeout is available every night until closing.
